I have had my fair share of brazilian waxes. Mostly paying someone to do the job for me, but sometimes I would attempt to conquer the jungle all by myself like a real hero. This, my friends, is not an easy task. The first time I tried I swear I met Jesus that day. By the time I was halfway done and calling it quits I was drenched in sweat. Waxing your hoo-ha is torture and we all know it! The good thing about paying someone to do the job is that it is over a lot quicker. They lie to your about pulling it off on the count of 3, and actually pull it off on the count of 2 so you don’t see it coming.
Sometimes paying someone isn’t always an option. Sometimes it is that time of the month and that would be totally inappropriate to go to someone and get naked from the waist down. Sometimes you can’t get in soon enough. Sometimes the woman you trust and finally feel comfortable flashing your vagina and butt hole to decides she isn’t going to do brazilians anymore (not mentioning any names)!
Alas! I have found a wax that will not make you miserable. Your husband/boyfriend/sister/mom/weird roommate will not walk into your bathroom to see if you are okay and find you curled up in the fetal position with a strip of wax still attached to your jungle of pubes. I have found Surgi Wax. I have purchased this wax numerous times over now. It is amazing! I found it at the Sally Hansen beauty supply store. I think I paid $20 once but $10 most recently (not sure if it was on sale, or if I am delusional about the $20). Either way, Valentines Day is coming and the deed must be done. If you are too scared to show women your nether region, I am here to help you! Not by making you show me your nether region, but by suggesting how to do this without having to show any strangers. You’re welcome.
I am not going to lie and say it is painless because you are ripping your coarse little hairs out, a billion at a time. Buuuuut if there is going to be one that doesn’t make you pass out between each wax application, this is it. Also, don’t get lazy and shave in between waxes. Just keep waxing! The more you wax, the easier it gets (and it doesn’t hurt as bad) and less hair keeps coming back. Good luck ladies!
